Yalla is a modern Middle
Eastern food stall at Krog Street Market from
Chef Todd Ginsberg, Shelley Sweet, and Jennifer & Ben Johnson, the team
behind The General Muir and Fred’s
Meat & Bread. In addition to favorites like falafel, shawarma,
and kebabs, Yalla serves fresh, seasonal "salatim" (salads) and
handcrafted, all natural, low sugar sodas. My all time favorite dish is
the Shwarma Bowl which is spit roasted chicken, hummus, baba ganoush,
Israeli salad & pickles, fried eggplant, harissa, tahini, amba. It is $13 and I have gotten it without chicken a few times. Delicious! Yalla Holla!
