Mark Wahlberg to open burger restaurants in Georgia

Actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their chef brother, Paul, are expected to open six locations of their burger chain – Wahlburgers – in the “greater Atlanta area” and Savannah.

The Massachusetts-based company has franchise agreements for the restaurants, but it is not yet certain when the restaurants will open, or where, a spokesperson for Wahlburgers told Eater.com.


"They are simply just looking for potential locations in the Atlanta area," the spokesperson added.

Wahlburgers operates seven locations across Florida, Massachusetts, New York, and Canada.

The company plans to open new locations in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, Eater.com reports.
